Ordered 2,000 rounds of Aguila Match Rifle yesterday at 10:51am and the Fed Ex guy deleivered my ammo today at 12:09pm. Not too bad for standard delivery! :) Ive placed several orders from them and always get delivery within a day or two.

MY Aguila ammo, or should I say OUR Aguila ammo, just exploded in price.

May I, or we, know:

From whom you purchased it from.
What the shipping costs were.
What was the net price of just the ammo.

Thanks

good to know for the next time I'm looking for some ammo.

The source is in the header.Easy enough to check their website.

Aguila match from Cheaper Than Dirt is $29.49 per box of 500. I bought 4 boxes and shipping was $13.50 Total price paid was $131.46/2000 rounds = .065ea.

Only problem is that their shipping is outrageous. $24 for 3 boxes of .223 ammo. I will just stick w/ Palmetto State or Wally World for my ammo. Ridiculous.

CDT did some horrendous price gouging during the ammo panic. They will never see any of my money again.

Adding their excessive shipping cost to California to their competitive prices made them non-competitive so I don't buy from them.

Terrible outfit. They doubled and tripled prices on reloading components and ammo during the recent glut. Free enterprise is one thing but what they did was clearly opportunistic and an abuse of their customer base. As previously mentioned their shipping charges are outrageous - guess that is why they have "fast" shipments. I called them when they reached their deepest price gouging and asked to be removed from their mailing list. I will never do business with those scumbags again!

I quit CDT and Midway, too, years ago when their shipping prices went outta sight. I found that with their low prices, plus their shipping charges, I was paying significantly more than local retail. For stuff that's hard to find locally, I get a much better deal from Graf & Sons.

+1, and CTD is local to me. I haven't spent a dime with them since the election, and won't.

Never done business with CTD... but if you guys are getting significantly lower delivered prices than what CajunMouseSniper posted for 2k Aguila Match Rifle I'd appreciate knowing where cuz I'm about ready to order some more. Thanks

The CMP is selling Aguila 40 grain 1200 fps case of 5000 for $305 S/H $19.95
Aguila 40 grain 1153 fps case of 5000 for $230 S/H is $19.95

their web site says that they are taking orders

Neither of the above is Aguila Match Rifle. Who is The CMP?

The Civilian Marksmanship Program. They run the high power matches at Camp Perry. You can also buy surplus M-1 garands,M-1 carbines and ammo. Their site is CMP Home

And AR-15 Magazines

I let them spend some of the money they gouged from people on sending me a catalog. It goes right to my recycle bin when it comes.

+1 on Graf and Sons. Their shipping/handling charges are always the same instead of being based on either weight or value of the product. When I bought a TC muzzleloader from them a couple of years back the price was excellent, the S/H was $5.95 and no sales tax. Had it in my hands in three days.

I personally quit ordering from Sportsman's Guide. I live 100 miles away and their charges are too high in the first place and without regard to distance. They charge the same as if I lived on the far end of the country. They also frequently had UPS deliver my item to the local post office and had the mail man bring it to my house delaying it for a day, or a even a weekend if it got to the post office on a Friday. Sometimes took a week to get a package to come that 100 miles.

I once decided to question their practices so I got into an email discussion with a SG customer rep. He told me that their S/H was balanced out by their low prices. When I did a little research and pointed out several items in their latest catalog that were actually priced higher than the exact same item at some of their competitors he told me that they were personally satisfied with their practices and I should do my shopping elsewhere. I have.

Ordered 5k Wolf Match Target from Midway a couple weeks ago. $456.99 - $50 coupon + $21.86 shipping = $428.85 delivered. (Had to order another $40 worth of stuff to get total to $500 for the $50 coupon).

Are you guys getting Wolf Match Target cheaper than $400 at Graf or these other places?

How about Aguila Match Target? Is Cheaper than Dirt the best delivered price there is?

Same here. Making money is one thing, but taking total advantage is another.

Sportsman guide shipping is VERY good. HOWEVER.... you pretty much pay the same for 1 box or 50. I just got 4500 rounds of 45 FMJ and shipping was 22.00. It was on backorder for almost 18 months, but I patiently waited as it was 210.00 per case of one thousand then! I buy wholesale and can't touch that price! It is now 450-500 per case there.... 4500 rounds for 1000 bucks! Beat that! I was a happy camper when it all showed up last week!
Prices have gotten way to far out and I dont seee them coming down. Distributors are not having a lot of 45 at all.... 9 is breakin thru but again, prices are up there even wholesale.

$219/1k WOW! That's nearly as low as what it cost me to reload 45ACP with Rainier bullets.

Ammo at retailers as well as primers and powder is really piling up all over this area. I was at Sportsman Warehouse the other day. The shelves are full and pallets are all over the floor.

It was a special 18 months ago! . When I saw it I almost ordered 50,000 rounds and didn't. Still have 6500 rds on B/O at the 210 price.
As I said, I buy at wholesale and on average 45 is 300 per case( PMC, Federal, WWB and the like), 9mm is 190 ( same brands) 38 makes no sense same as 380 on the prices. 223 is average 300 per case also.
( again these are FFL prices) Sportsman has PMC 40 right now for 319 per case I believe. Good price. About 15 bucks a box. That's what I would pay. Put 30 per cent on that for retail on average. The place I was at never gouged. Same markup as last 20 years.

The wholesalers are playing games from what I know. I have friends working at two and if you know the right guys you get what you want. He used to tell one guy they had nothing, then send store I was at 10,000 rounds of 223, 45, 9mm.........one time we even got 10,000 of .380. It's a big game.

Then there are the days that wal mart has ammo for less than I know the store pays for it so that boggles my mind.
