What terrible news! He was an absolute pillar of this group. Thank you for letting us know, Cody: may his memory be a blessing to all who miss him until they see him again in Glory.

Sad news indeed, so sorry for your family's loss Cody. R.I.P. Iggy.
Cody, like many on this forum, I never met you dad in person. But yet I knew him. He from time to time would contact me to check up on my medical issues which I so much appreciated.
He was very generous to each and every one here.
Your dad was one of a kind, he lived his life fully, his way.

Cody, your dad was a unique and valued member here, who will be sorely missed. His holiday stories are a tradition here that I hope continues. My condolences to you and your family. He Was A Good Man, May He Rest In Peace.

One thing I've learned; never judge a book
by it's cover. I'm clean cut and small. Wasn't
sure about your demeanor.
You were such a Gentleman, very
approachable, humble, and good listener
(especially to my gibberish). We talked for
awhile. I really enjoyed our visiting about
Guns and Reloading".
I always thought in the back of my mind I
would see Iggy again at the Cheyenne Gun
Show, but I unfortunately have not been
able to make it again, even though I'm
usually in Cheyenne once a month.
He will truly be missed.

Loved the article about Mom and Dad being together in Sheriff office. God Bless him and family.
Cody, Your Dad seemed to me the kind of guy I'd want to have my back in a tight spot, or to sit with on a porch on lazy afternoons and talk.

We all cared for "Chip", and will miss him. You are lucky to have known him as your father.

Cody - I recall you and I met only once but I spent a lot of time with your Dad while I still lived in Laramie. We often went to gun shows, spent time at the Carlin or just sort of generally hung out. He was one of my favorite guys. You may already know this but he spoke of you often and always with great pride. He was as proud of you and your accomplishments as a Dad could be. His passing is a sad loss of a friend for me and a greater loss for you and your family. We'll all miss him.
