Chip "Iggy" Harding

Cody, like many on this forum, I never met you dad in person. But yet I knew him. He from time to time would contact me to check up on my medical issues which I so much appreciated.
He was very generous to each and every one here.
Your dad was one of a kind, he lived his life fully, his way.

Cody, your dad was a unique and valued member here, who will be sorely missed. His holiday stories are a tradition here that I hope continues. My condolences to you and your family. He Was A Good Man, May He Rest In Peace.

I copied this from an old Thread from May
29, 2020. Iggy had a Speer Reloading Book
on his table which I bought and how we
met him.

"Iggy - Cheyenne Rifle & Pistol Club; Spring
2018. Guns Only Show (only one in the
Nation), my Son and I met you.

One thing I've learned; never judge a book
by it's cover. I'm clean cut and small. Wasn't
sure about your demeanor.

You were such a Gentleman, very
approachable, humble, and good listener
(especially to my gibberish). We talked for
awhile. I really enjoyed our visiting about
Guns and Reloading".

I always thought in the back of my mind I
would see Iggy again at the Cheyenne Gun
Show, but I unfortunately have not been
able to make it again, even though I'm
usually in Cheyenne once a month.

He will truly be missed.

Cody, Your Dad seemed to me the kind of guy I'd want to have my back in a tight spot, or to sit with on a porch on lazy afternoons and talk.
My like on your post wasn't for the sad news you brought, but for your thoughtfulness in sharing with us here.
May God rest his soul, and comfort you and all his family.

Cody - I recall you and I met only once but I spent a lot of time with your Dad while I still lived in Laramie. We often went to gun shows, spent time at the Carlin or just sort of generally hung out. He was one of my favorite guys. You may already know this but he spoke of you often and always with great pride. He was as proud of you and your accomplishments as a Dad could be. His passing is a sad loss of a friend for me and a greater loss for you and your family. We'll all miss him.

A significant loss to his family, friends and this forum. Anything he posted was a "must read!" A kind soul and experienced person who earned the respect of all.

Wet sorry to read this, I've always enjoyed Iggy's posts.

My condolences to the family. My wife and I had the privilege to shoot prairie dogs at the ranch near Medicine Bow about 15 years ago for the first time. Chip was a wonderful human being with a kind and gentle heart. I am saddened by your post, unable to "Like it", and grateful that you did inform us of your Dad's passing.

As others wrote, please continue your posts. Chip will be missed by many, especially his Holiday Messages.
