OK, some of the radio chaos is being caused by a helicopter. It sounds like his mike is going to his police radio when he is talking to air traffic control. I don't think the LE community are worried about what transponder code he is using. He has a switch wrong somewhere or else somebody on the ground has something crossed and is rebroadcasting.

Yes, the good guys sent gas in and started ripping the outside walls down with a BobCat when they heard a single gun shot coming from the cabin, and then the fire started.

Particularly those who gave all, and their families.

Prayers for the victims of his crimes and condolences to the families of the murdered victims.

I am hoping it was him and not some other nutball. I would rather he would have been taken alive just to prove to those idiots on social media that he was no hero, just some psycho coward. With the cabin burning it may take a while for a positive ID.

May God provide comfort for the families of the fallen officers and his other victim(s).

LAPD is now saying no body has been found in the cabin. They say it is still to hot to search.

As of a few minutes ago they confirmed that a body was recovered from inside the burned out cabin.
They said "Identification will be attempted through forensic means."

Maybe it's our dirtbag, gone to his eternal reward.

He is DEAD but not before he shot two more LEO's one fately..The officer had a couple of kids and was a San Barideno. deputy...So all he did is shoot some officers that had nothing to do with his fireing...Sounds like he should have been fired, or better yet had been excluded during testing.....May he rest where all murders rest...I'm sure the devil will be tolerent of his complaints......Good Ridence....Sorry for the LEO's that he happened to vent his crazy brain on...Good Ridence is mild...

Television is reporting they found Dorner's driver's license on the body. There is little doubt it is him. Apparently a couple of cleaning ladies came to the cabin he was staying in and he tied them up and stole a purple Nissan car. One of the women escaped and called Police. He crashed that Nissan and jacked another truck and crashed that also. The LEOs that pursued him are very brave people.

What little I have seen about his background tells me he never should have been in Law Enforcement.

Apparently he was very well armed including a rifle with a silencer. When I heard the scanner traffic i heard talk of "automatic fire". I don't know if that is real or not.
