Civilization?

When Google Maps doesn't know where you are.

Ha. I've been there. It is a little disquieting to discover that.

"If I tell you "meet me at the redlight", it's at the intersection of US 129 and SR 26 in Trenton, Fl."

40 years ago, when my great aunt Nellie was Supervisor of Elections for Gilchrist County, that red light wasn't there; US 129 was a 2-Lane, and when you got north towards Bell, it was open range, and you better watch out for cows. I might also mention that Gilchrist County was always near the last county to report election results, and somehow, they were generally in favor of the candidate Miss Nellie favored. But they were civilized.

These few images define my civilization. I can't see a neighbor (see post # 5, and thank you Peak53).

ps: the cows being trailed off the mountain are headed to winter pastures in a much less civilized place 30 miles away (where there is a "Mc & Don's" supper club). It's a two-day trek for the girls and the cowgirls (the one on the motorcycle). The bull gets the privilege of riding off the mountain in a horse trailer -- he's too big and slow to be on the trail.
