I would think the same. Lead is very dangerous, especially when put into the air or liquified... as in the dip.
I use the dip & use tongs to remove the parts and then rinse off the cleaned parts. The liquid (lead acetate) is stored in a 5 gallon drum with hazard labels attached on all sides, identifying lead inside & to stay away. When full, I will have a company remove the drum.
