Normally I buy new extra mags with any pistol I buy, but when I went back to CDNN for extra new mags for my recently purchased NIB 5906 they were out..
New mags are around $30.
My salesman (Neal) told me that he always buys used magazines for range work and plinking and has been very satisfied with them.
So I ordered three used 5906 mags (LE marked actually) and they came today and look pretty good. (Used, around $20)
My questions are, should I just dissemble them and clean them like I would a normal mag after considerable use, or is there something else I should check or worry about?
the used mags are S&W factory mags, and look in good condition with the exception the orange "followers" (?)are pretty dirty from use. Any easy way to clean those up?
Thanks!
Jesse
