Clint Eastwood's 44 Magnum

With apology hereby offered to the poster for using his quote without crediting him, I declare I really must learn to properly post quotes in replies.:o

One more piece of Clint Eastwood trivia... His small part in the "Revenge Of The Creature" (Of The Black Lagoon) wasn't his only appearance in a 1950's Science Fiction/Horror movie. Clint had a small part as an Air Force jet pilot at the end of the movie "Tarantula!". You can only tell that the pilot that drops the napalm that finally kills the giant radiation mutated arachnid is Eastwood by his eyes, forehead, and mostly his distinctive voice! His face his mostly covered up by his oxygen mask.
By the way, I still like watching those old '50's Sci Fi & Horror movies. They make me think back fondly to my youth growing up in the late 60's into the 70's. One of our local TV stations (one of just 4 total! Way before cable TV!) had something called "Fright Night Double Feature" every Saturday at 7:00. Those old movies show up from time to time on TCM. Check out "Tarantula" next time it's on TCM and look for Clint. Whether it's bullets or napalm, Clint has been taking down the bad guys for well over 60 years!

I hear ya. I was 8 years old (1968) when we got our first color set (I still have the cabinet, they were built as fine furniture back then.)
My brother & I were thrilled when we discovered UHF channels doubled our viewing options. Of course there were the stories that somewhere on the UHF dial was a stripper channel;)

UHF is where I got my schooling on the classic 50s westerns "Marshall Dillon", "Have Gun Will Travel", "Maverick", "Lawman", et. al.

I remember watching "Little Rascals" and asking my dad if that's what he watched on TV as a kid. Of course the answer was "we didn't have TV, son"
