I got an e-mail this morning supposedly from CMP telling me to call a number and complete my 1911 order.
Is this legit? Last time they called me directly. Are they doing it this way now?

If it's the email you listed on the application, yes it's real. That's how they contacted me for my first batch win.

I called the number several times Friday afternoon. CMP picked up, gave me the options, but the lady I'm supposed to talk was busy all afternoon. I couldn't reach her. I guess I'll have to try again next week.

recieved mine in December ,everything was done by phone ,In round two everything was done by email,Received a beautiful 1943 colt frame Remington rand slide

Update: I ordered a Service Grade 1911 on Monday. Here it is Friday and it hasn't been shipped yet. Just got off the phone with them. My order should be processed today. However, they don't ship on Fridays and Monday is President's Day. Should be shipped on Tuesday.

I find this quite odd as every time I've bought from CMP in the past, the order was processed and the gun shipped the next day.  Apparently CMP is short staffed and running behind. Just thought y'all might want to be aware of this.
