You can read all about it here. Costco was selling them for about half of the MSRP a few months ago.

I've had no trouble at all with mine and it's produced gallons of coffee. Maybe Kevin (zoom6zoom) will chime in.

Jim, It seems to vary from batch to batch.
I ordered 12 lbs and they sent me 13.
I only had 1 lb left,, So I didnt even try this batch.
?Strong enough for you????
