Personally, my favorite K frame is the Model 13 3". Absolutely perfect in every way IMO. Put a Tyler's Tgrip on it with checkered walnuts like me or roll with a Pachmyr for a little fatter grip, which is how I found mine before I put period correct walnuts on it.

Model 10-maybe the most recognizable Smith, worldwide. These are really cheap, right now, as mentioned $229-270, depending on condition, at Bud's. The 2 that I've bought are definitely "finish-challenged", and both have exceptional triggers and are wonderfully accurate. Everyone needs a trusted friend that doesn't mind getting dirty, and at this price, a guy could buy one, and still have a few bucks left to get that K22 or M19 snub.

You know ... I'm just not seeing a .22 in the cards.

The more I think about it, my .22's have rarely left the safe over the past 5-6 years. I just don't seem to have as much fun shooting them as I used to. It's not that I'm a recoil junkie, but I do like to feel something when I squeeze the trigger.

Because of that, I think my money would be better spent in other directions at this time. *shrugs* Maybe when I get old.
