Recently there have been some interesting Colt revolvers posted. I am not an authority or even a dedicated Colt collector. I have a few.

Last winter I took the plunge on an outstanding example. Let me share it with you. This is a significant and well-documented revlover.

Normally I do my own photography, but these are not my photos. They are the art of the seller from whom I bought the revolver. Excellent photography. I don't think I could do as well.

I'm just the current caretaker. It will outlive me by far. I feel a bit humbled in my role.

Great shape for a gun made in 1948!..Is it still in same condition,..Also do you ever plan to shoot it, I also collect Colt SAAs..............................M*
