Combat Masterpiece Springs

I ordered springs to go into my recently acquired Combat Masterpiece.
The sear spring installed and functioned fine. So did the standard rebound spring from Wolff.

The trigger rebound spring and the cylinder stop springs are shorter than the originals.

I'm installed the rebound spring and all seems good, but this not the case with the cylinder lock spring so I reinstalled the original. I can feel more resistance with the original.
Still a couple more to go.

The shorter springs came from Midway, but for a couple of bucks I won't worry about it.

Is the shorter replacement spring thing to be expected on a gun from the '50's?

PS. Since I am not the original owner I am just assuming the springs it came with are original.

I assume your Combat Masterpiece is a 5-screw or 4-screw?
The cylinder stop spring is the only spring that changed with the transition to 3-screw frames.
You'll need a spring from circa 1960 or earlier.
The others are interchangeable since the beginning of time until today.
Not sure why their rebound spring is shorter, but it should work fine as they didn't change.
