Has anyone used this iwb holster for the Shield? How do you like it? Pros? Cons? How does it compare with the Old Faithful one? Tnx

Old Faithfull Holsters

Yes I have a iwb holster from Old Faithfull for my shield and I think it is better than crossbreed because it is more adjustable in more ways. I am a rather large man with a TACTICAL GIRTH and it works well for me GREAT BUY !!!! GO FOR IT. The Comptac infidel is all kydex and the width is minimal, I tried the Comptac and it didn't work for me.

I carry my Shield in an Infidel at the 4 o'clock position. Comfortable all day, sitting, walking, driving, etc. retention is fine and the draw is easy. Nothing not to like for me.

The Ultra has a leather backing correct? I don't have that particular model, but I LOVE all of my other CompTac products, including the "normal" Infidel. From Comp-Tac, also check out the Minotaur. For something a little different, try White Dog Holsters MUTT.

I have an infidel for my G26 which I also carry at the 4 o'clock position.l find it very comfortable.

I have the infidel for my shield. I like it, good retention and comfort.
mine is the regular infidel, not the ultra

I had an infidel ultra. Thankfully it was part of a trade package and I didn't waste any of my own money on it. IMHO it completely sucked compared to cheap eBay hybrid leather/kydex holsters.

It felt like it added to much bulk. The leather was too thick, and the single belt clip made it feel unstable, the holster wanted to shift around.

Right now I am using a Tango Concealment holster, which was purchased off ebay. Crossbreed style, leather back, kydex shell and two adjustable metal clips. Extremely comfortable for use carrying all day (8-9 hours in Phoenix, AZ heat).

I don't have the ultra...just the regular infidel and I like it. I had to take a file to smooth down some of the edges. It is not a 14hr a day holster though.

Yep I agree with drifter2be since I'm the one that wasted my money on it then gave it away to him when I traded my shield to him

Way too bulky and the leather extended down too far making it way too uncomfortable sitting down.
