Yeah, that I do not know why...i figured it was only the mag that was diffrent not the m&ps,but did see that the barrel for califorina is Carbon Steel and compliant models have 4140 Steel barrels,strange
Now that stinks...why do they have to have a pinned stock?My NJ compliant M&P 15-22 has the stock pinned.

The California assault weapons ban exempts 22 rim fires, thus they can have collapsible stocks and whatever other features they want. CA does still have a high cap mag ban though. The "CA Compliant" SKU is OSA the 811030 SKU except for the 25/10 magazine.
All 15-22 barrels are plain old carbon steel. Listing 4140 is likely a typo by copying specs from a M&P-15.
Does any one know if there is a way to make the compliant stock adjustable? It feels loose, and I see people saying its pinned. How do I un pin it?!?!?!?!
