Wikipedia says the model 619 & 620 came out in 2005-2009. Smith & Wesson put key locks on their guns in 2001. Someone in the S&W forum posts said, they had a pre-lock model 620.??? A person on another internet gun list in Boise is selling a 620 and says it was mfg. in 1991, but it has a key lock. My questions are: When exactly was the 620 introduced and produced? When exactly did the key locks begin on S&W guns? Thank you

You either saw two typos or confused writers 
. There is no pre-lock model 620 but there are two types of model 520s, a prelock fixed sight N frame .357 from 1980 and a 7-shot L frame with a titanium alloy cylinder from 2005. Or they were thinking of something else entirely...
