I have, for six years, been using my Ipad at home to connect to the net and the various web sites that I enjoy, especially this one. For the past two weeks, after signing in and beginning to scroll though the forum, my Ipad has been getting "knocked off" the net.

This happens only on this site and none of the other sites or forums that I visit. I just wanted to know if anyone else has experinced a similiar issue.

I will contact my "I.T." guru and yes, my home internet is a secure system. Maybe my tin foil hat is getting loose or the drones are interferring with transmission waves of the wireless system. Maybe Eirc Snowden knows how to fix this but, he will not return my e-mail messages! Talk about paranoid!

iPad was first introduced in April 2010. No six years for you!

A quick google search shows that you are not alone. Probably has something to do with settings. Suggest googling for a bit, and if that does not work, contact apple tech support.

I bet it is an easy fix once you figure out what it is. Good luck!

Did you happen to kick off the big gorilla? Legend has it he's got some strange and mystical powers ya know.:eek

You guys must have gotten Ipad's before we did out here in No Mans Land.:) We have had them for several years but I don't believe six years. I mostly use my desktop.

I bought my wife a new Ipad for Christmas and will use it and see if it has a problem.

I have a Motorola Xoom tablet and have been getting "Network Error" messages lately on this site only. They clear right away and I can go on browsing as normal.

Onomea and Sophie are right and my math is incorrect. We gave our daughter an Ipad when she graduated from undergrad and I had mistakenly based the acquisition date with her entry into college. How time files!

Anyway, it was 2010 and I was so jealous of my daughter that I had to go get one as well.

hpfenning's issues are the same as mine. I get the "Network error" notice and then get bouced off the net.
