Yep, Same idea as your N frame. The newer guns don't have pinned sears, the sear just slides out. Be careful not to trash the sear spring while you're sliding the sear out...Anyone know?

What would be the point?
As I understand it you can ship or transport a revolver that isn't on the california "approved" list if it's single action only. So it's not uncommon for someone moving to california to use this as a way around those foolish laws.
I'm not sure in this case but it's usually done to get around the stupid laws in some areas...
