Could they treat semi just they have treated machine guns in the last 70 years?

I don't have a machine gun and don't see the need for one, but I do have a semi-auto rifle with 30 round magazine, some of you probably have fully automatic rifle (NFA) and the rules are very draconian: lots of paperwork, taxes, blahblah, so do you guys think there will be new regulation demaninding all semi-auto (already in circulation) to be subject to similar regulations ( now standard) for NFA firearm?

The thoughts are in addition to other regulations down the road (no nore magazine >10 rounds), no features covered by the 1994 AWB. etc!

We have a fight in front of us. Democrats are not interested in banning semi, their untention is to disarm all of us.

That is exactly what they're looking at. I think they want to classify them as Class II weapons. Pay $200 registration and you can keep it. You cannot sell it or bequeath it. When the registered owner dies , it gets surrendered or confiscated and destroyed.

Not to give them any credibility , but the criminal use of legally registered & transfered full-autos is virtually non-existant.

Only twice since the 1934 GCA went into effect. One was a doctor and the other a policeman.

semi auto is evil

I think the anti gun crowd would just love to blanket ban all semi auto weapons. Hopefully there will be sensible people to to argue than my Browning A5 is not an 'assault weapon'.
