For Pace40 and all other dog lovers here...If it didn't hurt when we lost our faithful companion, then we wouldn't have cared.

The pain of a loss will subside, but the good memories of one we loved will go on forever. (Sometimes, I think the good Lord meant it to be that way)

So to sort of move around the words a bit....."It is not good for man to live alone"...Man was meant to have a good dog beside him.

We recently went through the same thing losing our Aussie "Link", and about 2 months later gaining our Newfoundland/Poodle "Teddy" my condolences, but also congrats! Pour yourself into this dog and you'll soon see that you'll feel the same that you once did...
