coupla good movies......

Not great but worth watching. Watched the first one on Prime and they also had the second one.

It was called "We Still Kill the Old Way". British black comedy about a retired East End crime lord in his 70's whose brother is brutally murdered by a street gang. He calls his old crew together and they decide to "take out" the street gang. Proves age and treachery will beat youth and strength.

The second is not as funny but which has its moments is "We Still Steal the Old Way". The Archer Gang takes on a bank that's cheating pensioners.

That reminds me of Harry Brown. Michael Caine plays a British pensioner in a neighborhood run by criminals, who decides to take them out. There's more to the story, but I don't want to spoil too much for anyone who wants to see it. I thought it was really good.

Like the OP I enjoyed both movies. Lots of good British movies and old TV detective shows on prime.
Classic is "Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels".

Back before all of the pay television we bought movies we would watch again and "Snatch" is one my favorites, along with "The Usual Suspects" and "Ronin". We tossed a mess of DVDs the other day and I whined about tossing those three.
