Crimson Trace For a J Frame ?

Those are $229, the two sets I bought at CDNN recently are $79 and the add is still up today. A slightly different look, but I have had the old model about decade on one gun and never a problem.
Buy once, cry once. The cushioned backstrap on the 405 is the only way I'd shoot my 340PD with magnum loads. It's under 12 ounces and without the cushioned backstrap, it's brutal. The guy I bought it from put 12 rounds through it then sold it to me for $450. MSRP on S&W's website is currently $1149.00. Paying a little more for a set of CT grips that's a hand saver was a no brainer for a gun I always have in my pocket. l bought them about 18 years ago. Don't remember what they cost back then. Didn't care.

As I get older, I can see where having them would be a plus. I got a great deal on a J-frame years back with Chrimsons and have no regrets that I picked it up. Biggest thing is when I need it Ill already be broken in to using that combo. Im starting to loose use of my right hand ( off and on). Maybe Ill get it back… maybe not. Switching to left with the dot sight is no big deal for me now if/when I need to. Nope, no gaurantee youll have them same when you age… better safe than sorry.
