Crystal Ball / Current Production = Future Classic

Looking back at hand tools I have purchased over the last 20-30 years, I would say that the plastic has not held up well. Even some cleaning chemicals slowly take their toll on polymers over time. Maybe there will be a demand for the polymer guns that do survive 50 years from now. I can't say that any new production S&W guns get me excited. I don't feel plastic and gun's are a good marriage.

If we were to go back to 1969 and tell collectors that people would go nuts over AR -15's we would be put in the loony bin. If we were to tell VN vets that they would laugh us out of the place.

I have this almost VINTAGE 9mm shield for sale......... :-)

Have a blessed day,

Leon

In twenty years, I see these current internal lock S&W that have no accuracy standards as being worth almost nothing. I have to opine, only the pre lock guns will increase in value. Nothing being made today by S&W will be collectable by those of knowledge of guns, steel and fine machining.
