Guys,
I've had my CS9 for several years now and love it. For such a small gun, its pretty accurate.

I do have a question for you pro's: I found my CS9 a little hard to take down in that you have to hold the slide in a certain position while pushing out the slide release lever (which is a pretty tight fit). Also during re-assembly depressing the internal levers (I don't know what to call them) while re-installing the slide appears somewhat tricky.

I'm always able to take it down and re-assemble it OK, but it seems like its a little harder to do than one would expect. Any suggestions as to what I could be doing wrong?

Thanks,

this is what works for me. by the pics, I have 3xl hands so this may not work for all.

sorry for the poor images. I am no cameraman.

grip the gun in this manner

using hand strength, retract the slide back to the clearance point when the slide stop lever can be removed

with your free hand, reach underneath and depress the slide stop lever pin which is exposed on the ejection side (or push up)

re assembly is the same way.

as far as the levers, ejection lever is depressed first.

you can use the slide stop lever pin to help push down.

slowly retract the slide to the next point (if you go to quick, the rear of your slide will be marked up by the levers looking up).

use the slide stop pin to depress the next two levers and retract the slide over the levers.

the grip the gun in the same manner as above and install the slide stop lever.

I am sure there are other ways.

good luck

I can add the following for people with small hand like myself. If you have trouble mataining the position of the slide to pull the slide stop pin you can brace the support hand's thumb against your chest to matain position to slide the pin out. This helps me out greatly because I have a lack of hand strength........Mike
