Vision problems coming up in a few weeks and looking for a way to carry a CT equipped pocket pistola. If it's a J frame I am unsure about to ring a secure own holster for the Bodyguard style. Maybe if Sgt.Joe Friday was still around I could ask him. Your suggestions appreciatec.

Thanks,
salty.

Can't read even with Huge print. Title that reads "own" should read "is OWB".

There is/was a leather holster style with a retaining strap around the bottom of the trigger guard. Also, a holster that fits the Bodyguard revolver that is made to hold it without a strap (like a Kydex type) should work.

Are you referring to M38, M49 or one of the Tupperware things Smith calls, respectively the bodyguard 380 and the bodyguard 38?

Note: the M38 and 49 are J frames.

The Tupperware guns aren't J frames.

The bodyguard 380 is a small semi automatic. The Tupperware bodyguard 38 isn't a J frame: it's a revolver action that's not used in any other handgun. Holsters for it are not interchangeable with those designed for J frame revolvers.

It is a pre lock 638-2. Although
it is a 'pocket revolver' it is kinda
obvious in my jeans as well as awkward and slow. If it wasn't a Bodyguard design or my Chief's Special didn't have a bobed hammer there wouldn't be a problem. So far locating an OWB j frame that would securely either of my round guns wouldn't be difficult. DeFrancis 'Rosco' makes my left pocket unavailable for use.

Suggestions appreciated.

Thanks.
