That looks really nice! I'd looked at that site before, but for a large case, the custom cut foam starts getting expensive. I did a little research and just recently built a hot wire cutter. Total cost was around $30. Granted I'm still learning, but it really works well. I'll try to get a picture or two up of the case I'm currently working on. It is a takedown AR set up in a racquetball bag. The hardest part seems to be sourcing foam at a reasonable price. I bought some of the Kaizen foam and it is pretty darn good for the cost.

That looks nice, what case will it go I to? I couldn't see the picture of the wire cutter unfortunately.
Starting to rethink my plan. For now I picked up another Plano case. They are 6.99 on amazon right now. I just need another case for transport right now. One for the shield and one for my sr22. It's cheap in both quality and cost, so it'll work for now.
I was looking at the pelican 1300. It is around the same length and width as the 1200 but twice the height. Thinking I could maybe do 2 foam trays in it, and stack them in the case. Then eventually I could make different trays if I wanted to transport 2 different guns. Or make an accessory tray to carry a lot of extra stuff.
Mycasebuilder carries this case, but they don't list the option to do multiple levels. Just the full cutting of the foam, so it might take a little more work on my part. Seems like this would be a common thing on the bigger cases, you would want multiple levels.

I would call the company and ask them if they could help you out with your design. That's the cool thing about having a small company, someone actually answered the phone lol.
When I ordered mine, I accidentally put New Jersey for state instead of New Mexico and the number they gave me was directly to their rep who fixed everything for me in a jiffy.
