Bought a new 45 Shield that had a defective recoil spring assembly right out of the box. Called S&W on Mon morning, and the the new assembly arrived in Wednesday's mail. MA to TX in 2 days !

Thank goodness they're on the ball with that now. When mine broke on the 9mm, it was more than three months. Forced to get a Sig while I waited.

Hope they are still going at full speed with all the bad weather they are having up there. I sent in my 1911 "billboard" for a safety recall last week. Previous experience with S&W and Ruger has all been good. Always good to hear positive customer service posts.
