I have seen several sites that do teflon-nickel coating to the slide, trigger jobs, stipling the frame, etc.

What is involved with adding a teflon-nickel coating? How durable is it? What are other customizing features for the M&P are really worth it? Thanks!

At 15yds my M&P40c shoots good groups and the trigger
is good. I had a M&P9mm and the trigger was lousy but it
shot good groups. I had a trigger job done and it was better,
but not good enough. SOLD IT Lost money on the trigger job.
When you start doing custom work on a pistol most of the
time you lose money. If you want a custom gun buy one
that came from the factory. They will cost less and resale
will be higher. Just my opinion! Don

They are Tupperware workhorses for duty or self defense carry. Any money you throw at them is lost. A trigger job is okay if you need it. But no matter what you do to the finish they will still be as ugly as all the other Tupperware guns. :)
Don’t get me wrong …I own both a full size and a compact .40; that are my primary carry weapons. Put your money in something that needs it, or that you will get a return on.
