Dad hands down his Model 10-6

I finally pulled the stocks off, last night, to Ren Wax everything. They had never been removed and were a bit of b***h to get off the frame.

I wasn't surprised but I was pleased to find the stocks are definitely numbered to the gun.

Not only will it be a nostalgic hand-me-down memory from your Dad, it is also in excellent condition! Looks like it's rarely been fired! Congrats!

That is exceptional. I was issued a new 10-6 in 1973. Sadly when we transitioned to Sigs we were not allowed to buy our issued weapon. 200 traded in and never seen again. The City would have made money on officer sales. I really want one, holster worn and shot very little is just fine.

That is a beautiful example of a Model 10-6. I've been chasing one in that condition for years. Congratulations. I'm sure the kids will enjoy it... when they get it.
