Blujax01, thanks for the shout out!

Kittery Trading Post has Hornady 9mm 115gr. FMJ (3,000 ct. & 250 ct) in their Backroom. They also have some powders listed, but I don't believe they ship powder. Might help out some fellow locals though.

The Fin has had 4 and 8 pound jugs of various Hodgdon powders available all month. It's in their September ad for anyone who reads. Earlier this month I walked by it and bought none (for those late comers who claim our kind is greedy) but it's been three weeks.

Now it's my turn. I got their last 8 pound jug of HP38 today.

$115.99 + tax.

Jealous! Won't tell you what I paid per pound recently :p

Wish I still lived in Gahanna!

Ya, it's hard to beat the Fin!!!!

Used to stop in their Ashland store when I headed down that way. Now I just stop at there Middleberg Heights (Cleveland) store.

I also only buy what I need.

Natchez has Rem 7 1/2 primers for only 45/1000. Seems Rem's prices from factory have gone up considerable.

Varget!

Recob's Target Shop has Varget in stock, both 1 lb and 8 lb jugs, at reasonable prices too (8 lb jug is $168).

They also have Winchester primers (LRP, LPP, SPP and SRP).

As if that was not enough they also have a lot of other popular powders in stock, such as IMR 4064 and Hodgdon H335.

Have to love Recob's :D

Recob's also had SR 7625 (9mm) and H1000 (7mm) in addition to that IMR 4064 (.30-06) powder which I simply had to order more of. Roll that beautiful powder footage ;)

Paid a visit to the Fin yesterday and dropped 500 bucks on essentials. They are now at the point where they have a good selection of powders, primers are pretty much back in stock, and I saw a several calibers of plated bullets on the floor. Don't know who FPM is but it was nice to see 1000 count boxes stacked up waiting for someone to pick them up. Unfortunately, the 1000 bullet total is still posted so I filled my "allowance" with Speer Gold Dots in 40 and 45 caliber and Hornady XTP's in 357. Doesn't matter what caliber you buy, 1000 bullets does start to get heavy after a while. Also picked up some H110, Longshot, SR7625, and some Federal Small Pistol primers. Also found 35 and 40 caliber collets for my RCBS bullet puller so I can now pull apart every single caliber I shoot in addition to .223 for a friend. All in all it was a rather productive trip and well worth the 350 mile round trip.

However, stopped by Sportsman's Warehouse over in Shelby on the way back and saw that they are currently beating the Fin on prices in some categories. Primers at the Warehouse are 10 dollars per thousand cheaper than the Fin and some powders are a bit cheaper. IIRC an 8 pound jug of Unique was 99 dollars to the Fins 119 dollars. However, the stock of bullets at the warehouse is thin thin thin and they keep the handgun bullets behind the counter which I don't like a bit.

It was nice to get back to Shelby and look around, my first job out of college was in Shelby and I spent 7 years living there. Those who haven't seen small town Ohio have no idea how pretty it can be and it was nice to see that a lot of the businesses in downtown Shelby are still a going concern today.

Hey Scooter did you have a chance to stop by "The Shelby Mall" aka Glen's Surplus?

I love that place.

Same experience with Berry's a few weeks ago on 1K 115 RN 9 and 1K 180 FP 40. Looks like things are stabilizing. Similar from MO Bullet Company on 200 and 250 gr 45!

It appears that Barry's is about caught up on several calibers.

Although they quote "Lead Times can be 4-6 Weeks on some items", I ordered 1000 230 grain 45 ACP and they arrived within a week.
