ANOTHER SCORE

Scored another order from X-Treme Bullets. Was told day before yesterday when ordered it would be four weeks. Three of the four orders shipped today. :D

Yep, still checking this thread all the time, and GREATLY appreciate everyones contributions!
Every time I try to contribute, someone has beaten me to it!

I did score some powder for my handgun loads today though, thanks to a couple of the above posts....

What are the pros / cons for plated versus FMJ versus lead cast? Other than not finding as much load data for the plated bullets are there any real cons if I am just looking for target bullets? I almost ordered some of these this morning. Thanks.

Have you considered Bayou Bullets? Bayou Bullets
Lots of competition shooters use them, and they don't lead your barrels up. And if you use a good powder no smoke residue from the wax on the lead bullets.

Can't try them out as it looks like they are not taking any orders for bullets right now.

I just placed an order this last week over the phone for 3000 .45 rounds and that statement was posted on his website. They are busy, so you might have to leave a message and wait for him to return the call. It is not unheard of to have an 8 week wait for your orders, but they are well worth the wait. I don't want to shoot any other brand...except for my JHP defensive/hunting loads.

Well my contributions to the thread that has been running strong nearly 3 months is going to be severely diminished with my work installing a new internet software that blocks nearly ever firearm & firearm related site there it--including this one. Hope my fellow S&W Forum members can continue to help others out in finding what they need.

That sucks! My company does the same but conveniently "I" am the network admin for my company and for some reason this site is one that seems to still work. ;)

That does suck. Thanks for your time Novalty. I am looking for loading components every morning. When I see something I will for sure be posting it here.

Yes that does as I have found this thread very useful, especially because I have limited time to search for stuff. A couple of places i go have free Wi-Fi but they block any site with weapons, firearms, guns etc. just by those words being on the site. I finally set up my own hot spot through my cell phone as with my work sometimes I need Wi-Fi and don't have it. Hope this thread continues and thanks Novalty.

NatchezSS has CCI Small pistol primers, and has Alliant Red Dot, Alliant Green Dot.

MidwayUSA has Speer 158gr LSWC-HP's (500ct), and Remington 230gr FMJ's.
