Like BKreutz said, we're blessed with several local "brick & mortar" sources. I feel for you folks who have to do commerce on the Internet with the associated shipping fees and government traceability.

In Ohio cash still talks, for the time being anyway.:cool:

Just got back from my sister's for Thanksgiving. The route back goes right past Guns Unlimited in Omaha. i was very plaesently surprised to see well stocked shelves of Hodgdons and Alliant Powders. Picked up some HP38 and Hornady 140 XTP bullets. They even had Varget and 4198 on the shelf. Prices were $18- $26/lb; $140- $160 for 8lb jugs.:D:cool:

Brownells has Winchester LPP's. Ordered 10K at $27.99 per thousand last night. With an order of 5K you get a bulk order discount down to $27.99 otherwise $30.49 per thousand.

Just checked their website, not really fully functioning yet. I would love to have ordered some HP38, been looking for a long time for some. !@#$%

Just purchased .38 cal 148gr dewc and .45 cal 200gr swc lead bullets from from Mastercast in Pennsylvania. The 38's were $65 per thousand and the 45's were $80 per thousand. This is the first time I've dealt with this company and supposed to receive the bullets today or tomorrow. I didn't compare prices with other suppliers so I have no idea is these prices are considered good or not. The shipping was $15 for a post office "if it fits, it ships box". I also purchased once fired brass from Colorado Brass Wholesale. Maybe this was a deal and maybe not. The brass is said to be once fired, picked over for bad cases, not cleaned and not de-capped. I bought 1750 each of .38 Special and .45 ACP. Both were nickel cases. The .38 were definitely once fired and required de-capping. The .45's however, at least in this shipment, were all de-capped and at 3/4 of the brass was brand new never fired. The cases were clean and the primer pockets appeared to be new (no scratches from primer removal) Total cost for these was $280 shipped. Again, don't know what kind of "deal" this was but I bought what I needed. With brass though, as many times as it can be reloaded, the cost per shot is minimal. Tell me if I got hosed.
 
MidwayUSA has a promotion for $20 off $125 (CODE:20125) They have CCI Small Pistol Primers in 5,000 quantity. It quoted me $170 with shipping and the discount code applied. So about $34/1000.
 
**Warning Prices aren't cheap**
Cabelas has Winchester 748 (2lb max), and CCI Primer (no max), some Winchester Primers, some Federal & Remington. $20 Hazmat. Think there is still a promotion flyer good through 01/29/14 for certain dollar. Haven't tried it but there is a $5 shipping promotion "CLUBFIVE"
 
Third generation shooting supply has titegroup in stock. 4 and 8 .lbs. Won't last long.
