Hey guys. Looking for some help in dating my recently acquired PC 586 L Comp. Its my first revolver since 1988 and am very much liking it. Its serial number CZK7261. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I found this beauty at a LGS as clean as a whistle. All the things I learned here was applied in determining its condition. All required clearances nice and tight. No rust anywhere. Finish shows no wear at all. Very slight turn line on its cylinder. As to be expected its tritium vial is useless and Im looking to replace with something else, preferably fiber optic. In addition to date of manufacture could someone offer suggestions as to value??? I picked it up for just over $1000 bucks in its original PC plastic case. The rubber grips were NOT included. Also what are the better options for front sight replacement that will work with its factory adjustable rear? Thanks in advance for any and all help.

Thanks guys.... assuming its the original case then the manufacturing year would be 2016. Is there anything significant (good or bad) attached to that model year? Also any suggestion for a front sight replacement that will work with the factory adjustable rear sight?

More info and/or some photos would help. These were made with and without the IL and in several barrel lengths.

.

Barrel length is 3 inch but the last half inch or so has the port, so the effective barrel length is more like 2.5 inches, with a reduced sight radius also.
