Daughters - who's got 'em?

Just one, she'll be 32 next week. Heavy into cross fit training and getting along well with her new career in a research lab at MD Anderson cancer center. Only thing is, she can beat me up, but takes it easy on me.:D:eek::cool:
I can't play basketball with her, one on one anymore, cause she hits me with a hip move and knocks me out of bounds.

I have a soft spot in my heart for My Little Girl . :) She can always make my eyes misty with the home made cards she gives me. :o She turned Thirty this past July, man that made me feel old. Thank God that she got her looks from her Mother.

I don't have kids but I watch Nutnfancy on YouTube and he had a recent video series about daughters specifically. Worth checking out even if you don't like him, you might agree with some of his parenting principles/advice.

I have one who blessed my wife and I with the grandest of granddaughters. Our daughter is in her last year of vet. school at Texas A&M all while raising her little one while her husband was starting his career. Two sons we're awful proud of too.

Sig, nice photo, I too remember Daddy, Daddy read me this, fix this, eat this mud pie
i jus made. Daddy choke this boyfriend. Daddy that boys mean to me, hand out the pain.

I had 3 daughters and 3 sons. I do love them all and the grand kids. They in turn love me.

But while all of you are breaking an arm to pat yourselves on the back, I do remember a time (girl age 11-22) that I might have traded them for a nice Colt, horse or pistol and some times a nice photo would have worked.

But we got the ladies raised, 2 RN's and 1 is a MBA banker. From the daughters, 2 granddaughters and 4 grandsons and they all love Dad or Papa. And Mom/Nana in case she breaks the code and gets in here.

From the sons 3 grandsons so far.

Nico, all the best for your little girl. Serious, man. Cause mine was born 2 months premature (in Mexico). She's 33 now and a firefighter in a major Texas city, a marathon runner and Iron Man competitor.
Has her old mans warped sense of humor-- a backbone and a funnybone, and drpdead gorgeous.

we had just one child, and was glad to have a daughter. She's 27, and the mama to our 2yr old grandson. She very much still looks like a tiny teen (i've learned not to always pre-judge a young looking mother these days lol) but has a good career and family life of her own.

Must have did something right, as while she had her girly girl cheerleader times growing up, she's also a hard core tuner girl ( has a supercharged Acura for her summer toy) and when younger used to go bowfishing with me. I still have the pic of her at 13, in a bikini with a 36" gar on the end of an arrow..... all in front of the governors mansion on the water here.

Yeah, daddy/daughter relationships can really be special.

Mine is 22 today. But she'll always be this kid to me...

I've got 2 fine sons who I love with all my heart, but there is something about Dads and daughters.

Wow! - your post sure said it all for me. :) Mine just turned 22 as well. And what an adorable picture, but I am sure she would just as soon you didn't post it too often. :D

As to the sons, I have only one - but I wouldn't trade him for anything. We get along well (I think! :D) and I have always been proud of him.

Happy 22! to your daughter. :)
