I'm seriously considering the DeSantis Facilitator holster for my M&P 9C and am wondering if anyone has first hand familiarity or knowledge of it. It's supposed to be slim and concealable. Can be wornstrong side - butt forward, or crossdraw - butt rearward, or small of the back. Sounds good, but nothing like talking with someone with first hand experience. Thanks!

I'm about to find out. I ordered one for my 40c. $38.99 from Midway.
It might work for my 9Pro also since it is open ended not sure if the front site is going to be an issue.

DeSantis Facilitator - Style 042 for S&W M&P 9MM/40CAL 4 1/4in
M&P Compact 9mm/40cal 3 1/2"

The Facilitator™ style #042 is constructed of rigid .125 Kydex® sheet and glass reinforced nylon for strength and durability and features our Redi-Lok™ trigger locking device. It can be worn strong side (butt rearward), cross draw(butt forward), or small of back (almost horizontal). The Facilitator™ is SLIM, which makes it much more concealable than the competition.

The combat proven Redi-Lok™ makes this model very secure and snatch resistant. The Redi-Lok™ is a trigger locking device that is totally instinctual so almost no new training will be necessary. It is located on the inboard side so it's out of eye-reach of an adversary. Belt slots are 1 3/4" wide. Available in black.

Optics Planet has them for about same price with free shipping. I usually buy from them, but Midway had a Spyderco Native I wanted also so I got them both for $101 shipped.

DeSantis Arrived Today

I am glad I got it. Fits well and the release is on the inside between your shirt and the tab and easily accessed with the thumb.

I put it on with a 1.25 inch belt, which allows a little cant back and forth as there is a .25 worth of belt slot not occupied. 1.5 inch would be perfect and maximum.

It is not as slim a profile as leather only or some kydex I have seen. That is due to the lock in mechanism. I seldom OWB but I wanted something that would work in IDPA competition and shtf carry.

Here are some pics.

Thanks for the heads-up DAdams. Looks like a nice holster and
a versatile one. I can see where the locking system would add a
little bulk so no surprise there. Hope it works out great for you.
