Did I really need another 3" K frame?

Congrats on the M13. I think I looked at that gun yesterday. If it had been nickel you probably would not have seen it. I already have a blue.

Very nice gun you have there. I really enjoy shooting a 3" K frame. I saw a set of RB targets like yours sell for $125 on ebay recently. WOW.

Great gun at a great price, especially since it looks like it cleaned up well -- you just got your money back and turned a profit. ;)

If it's still a touch rougher than your other M13, this is the shooter that preserves the other -- a smart purchase of a perfect platform.

"Need"??? Whats need got to do with it? ;)

Congrats on that sweet 3 inch 13. Another fine example of everything you need in a revolver and nothing you don't. Regards 18DAI

Of course you need it. Until Saturday I had none, but I fixed all that with the purchase of this RB 3" 64-3. I took it to the range just a little while ago, and I was very happy with the way it performed. It came with some Pacs, which fit horribly, and these Hogue's which are pretty good. Now I'm shopping for some nice stocks for it. It's a great fixed sight gun with a great feel.

I have 1

yes, you really did need it. Of course you did, don't be silly. K-Frames are lovely, I have a '68 2" .38 RB.
I could use another also. There's always room for more right?

Well of course you did. What a silly question.:D

I just bought a pretty decent 13-3 with a three inch barrel at the Birmingham gun show for $300.00. It had a Hogue rubber monogrip on it, and some surface rust underneath it, which I mostly got taken care of by an application of Mother's metal polish. Thing is, I've already GOT a nice three inch 13-3 at home, only the one I just bought was blued, and the one I had is nickel. I tried to justify this purchase, and finally decided I just wanted the thing, and bought it. This can really become a sickness; I need professional help.......

No, you don't need professional help. Yes, you did need another 3" 13-3. Now it's time to start on 13-2s.

What is the correct number to have? Like a few of the finer things in life, the perfect number is generally, one more.

Yes. Yes you did. Here are my three M13s. Can't have enough.

I'm seeing Ahrends on the left, but can't decide if they're bananas or boot grips without the finger grooves; factory magnas in the middle; and I can't tell what's on the right.

We need a rule that all non-factory grips have to be identified by the poster. ;)

Ahrends Cocobola boots (hand-rubbed oil) on a 13-4, Ahrends Fiddleback Maple boots (hand-rubbed oil) on a 13-3, and Factory Magnas on a 13-2 (middle revolver).
