I tried to find them on their website, but they were not there. Am I missing something?

They are still available and no announcement has been made that production has stopped. Perhaps a website glitch?

Anyone besides me waiting for S&W to come out with a non-PC, maybe a Pro Series 929 with a 5 or 6 inch barrel. I would buy one of those in a heartbeat.

I just want an Airweight J frame 9mm. :/

It'll still be a 5-shot and kick and roar and screech. And it won't do anything that a good performance .38 will do. Or at least that's my opinion.

Maybe try renting Ruger's LCR in 9 mm at a range and see if you really want a Smith J frame 9 mm. Weights and barrels would be comparable and then I think you might reconsider.

I have an LCR 9mm and I like it.

Recoil similar to my LCR 357 when shooting 38+p.

Accurate gun and I like moon clips for fast reloading.

Also Ruger deleted the internal lock on lcr 9mms.

A 5" 929 would be clutch for steel shooting. Only reason I don't have one is because of the 6 1/2" barrel length.

The 929 is out there to be had if you are persistent. A Turner's Outdoorsman in my hood has one that I manhandled yesterday. I was very impressed with it. Nice weight and hand feel, and I thought the fit and finish was excellent. Price was $1,200. Sales tax and DROS fee would add about 10%. Kinda spendy. I will wait until I can wring one out at a range, before making any decision.
