I sent my rebate form in on April 5th, got the same response on the Milano website and called CS, I was told they did receive the form and rebates will take 8-10 weeks.
That's because rebates are a sales tool and revenue generator. Companies offer them to boost sales and the count on a decent percentage of them to go unclaimed. Think about how many times you've sent in a rebate and had to call for an update or ask where it is only to receive promptly after that inquiry. They're counting on people to forget about it or lose the receipts necessary to claim it.I don't understand how in this day in age they can't:
a) send an automated confirmation email for an online form submission.
b) process a rebate claim in less than two months.
Anyways....
I printed the purchase receipt email from Grab a gun and I photo copied the packing slip they shipped with the gun to my FFL bc that's what had the serial number on it and submitted it with both of them via mail.I purchased a Shield 9mm online from GrabaGun almost 2 weeks ago and took delivery & FFL transfer a few days later.
Questions:
1 - Looking at the online rebate application & filling it out is simple enough except the part where it says to include a pdf copy of the sales invoice. How do I do that?
2 - Is the transaction confirmation email I got from GrabaGun the document they want?
3 - If so, how do I get that to go in the "slot" on the online application?
I have printed off the purchase confirmation email and the application itself, along with the FFL's receipt. Will all that suffice if I just mail it in via the USPS?

Same here....very interesting. Also reflected -0- in the "amount" column.Interestingly, when I entered my phone number, zip code and last name on the Milano site form, it came up "no record". When I entered just my zip code and last name, the record came up.

chill out and go enjoy your Shield at the range...
Not sure what the Milano website is. I submitted mine at smith-wesson.com/rebates. Seemed to work.
