Dillon RL550B or XL650

I have a 550b and love it. What ever you chose I think dillon is the right choice.

When I go to Brian's site I always see the big "I have no Dillon parts" banner across the top. Not exactly sure what's going on but I've had luck getting stuff directly from Dillon. I've also had better luck calling Dillon on the phone and ordering it manually rather than ordering from their website. I'm starting to think that the phone sales staff can get orders through faster than can be done on the website. Hope you get your stuff sooner rather than later.

Everything I ordered from Enos showed up today. Not too bad of a wait for shipping. Won't get a chance to setup my new press until next week sometime though as we are going to the coast this weekend with the kids.

I am looking to mainly load .223/5.56 (80%) and .308 (20%) with this new press. I am not sure if I would load pistol ammo on it or not as the SDB is so easy to use and I already have a ton of accessories for it. I am not very concerned about loading mass quantities at a time as I would probably only load a couple hundred rounds at a time. It is more about the whole experience than it is just cranking out as much ammo as I can. It is a Dillon so I know either press is going to be awesome and work great.

Good decision, I would NOT bother with a 650 for 200rd runs, IMO, waste of $$. Buy the 550B, it can handle just about anything. I load 223 & 308 on mine. FOr target or hunting ammo in my bigger calibers, I still go ss press. After all, I seldom need more than 40rds at any given time.
