We had a family gathering this weekend. My DIL is from GA and some of her family had been affected by the hurricane. I said that I wanted to donate to the help fund and had thought about the Red Cross.

My son immediately said NOOOO, it is a govt. thing and most of the money is lost.

My DIL started streaming her church and I was moved. They said that 100% would go to relief.

I just joined the movement and made a donation. Every dollar counts. I endorse this link and suggest all of us do the same.

I have said before that we give what we can to Matthew 25: Ministries.

They are a top 5 four-star rated charity with a 100% score from both Forbes and Charity Advisor.

We usually donate to a range of efforts, but we have donated locally this time as the need is off the charts here in NC.
Not to say others are not helping but we know the locals are on the ground.
