Do you carry more than one gun at a time?

Carry second gun

No.

If I didn't trust my first CCW with my life, I should buy a new CCW, not a second one.

I wear a belt, or suspenders, but not a both together. One gets the job done.

I wear a seatbelt while driving a car, but I don't also wear a helmet.

If I find myself in a situation so messy that one fully loaded CCW can't extricate me...it may just be I'm getting called upstairs.

All that said, I support your constitutional right to carry 5 CCWs if that's your bag.

I've considered carrying a second because sometimes the semi auto jams so I need a backup or visa-versa...revolver has 5 shots and if problem is bigger than 5 go to semi auto or another revolver. I don't carry second but have considered it. I find it's just too much to carry. RESOLUTION??? Carry a larger revolver with more ammunition....just saying.

Why I carry a BUG.

Houston PD.
Police Officer Charles Clark was shot and killed while responding to a silent alarm at a check cashing store on South Loop East.

Officer Clark arrived less then four minutes after the alarm button was pushed. As he entered the store, the suspects opened fire, striking him in the shoulder. He returned fire but his service weapon jammed after firing the first shot.

As he called for assistance one of the men shot him in the head execution style. The subjects then executed the female store clerk before fleeing. The three men were apprehended the following day. The shooter of the clerk was sentenced to death and a defendant was convicted of related charged. In 2013 the subject who murdered Officer Clark was granted a new trial and then released on a technicality.

My Sig P238 .380 is always on me 24/7, or within reach. Depending on where I am going and what I will be doing, I will carry a 2nd gun, maybe 30% of the time.

Honestly, I think carrying a backup 2nd handgun for personal protection is over-kill. If I owned an all-night market or liquor store or pharmacy or some other high-risk business, a back-up might be understandable. But generally - no.
