Yeah, that too, but I don't think there were any Smith & Wesson Model 625's there.

For some reason I thought that was on the 4th of July, 1876. I might be thinking of something else...I'm too lazy to check. :)

I like the OP's great old stainless S&W. How does the aftermarket cylinder release work? I'm unfamiliar with those.

I really like the extended release, I'm left-handed and I can easily hit the release with my right thumb as I'm transferring the gun to my right hand for a reload. Hogue makes them in two different lengths - the one on my 625 is the longer one.

YES! I'M IN .....

Picked up this 625-2 "Model of 1989" a few years ago. Replaced the front sight with a green fiber optic.

.45 ACP - 200 grain plated TC reloads
.45 Auto Rim - 250-grain lead Keith flat nose reloads w/Unique

Shot a deer at 75 yards last year using my 45 Auto Rim loads, one shot, dropped on the spot.

Nice ones!

But to continue with the theme... You'll never get to see my 631 then!?!?

Today, 6-26-18, is Boat Repair Day. $75 at the local weld shop, and the cracked seam is fixed -- until the next time it breaks.

Hopefully to be followed by Boat SOLD Day in the near future.

A friend of mine once said the two happiest days in a boat owner's life are the day you get your new boat and the day that you sell it.
