Can you help me with the date this revolver was made? Serial number is BRS1682. Serial number is the same on the but and behind the crane but style looks different from the M38-2 imprint.

From SCSW Aug 1994 BRF, next entry is Oct 2003 BVA. assuming yours falls somewhere in between.
