A friend of mine has a 1006 in 10 mm and wants to know:

DOB: Serial number is TFB13xx

How good is it.

The 1006 was produced from 1990 - 1993. Yours I think was made in 1990.
Since I have two of them myself, I can't say anything negative about the 1006.

Good accurate and reliable shooter.
If you in to the 10mm round, you got to love the 1006. And of course the other S&W 10mm models as well.
