Does your 3-letter serial number prefix spell a word?

Leaving for a gun show in York PA and checking serial numbers before I pack up, and I realized my Model 639 has a TBVXXXX on it. Dont know about that one either. It was a police trade in from St Louis PD. stamped on frame.

4 years and 5 months !!

I have a 3" 66-3 with CAT , and 3 625-3s with the BEN prefix.I guess they're the BEN brothers.

I recently purchased 2 686-5s' BOTH with my deceased older brothers initials ---- CDT for Christopher Dean Trosper. R.I.P.

One a 4 inch , and one a 6" .
