Tell me the truth. Does your wife know how many guns you have? Just say yes or no---Poll

No, she doesn't. But on the other hand she doesn't much care. So I guess its a wash. They don't ALL look alike to her, but she says there are only 4 kinds* so why do I want more?

* 1. Short with round bullet holders. (Revolvers)
2. Short & flat (Semi auto pistols)
3. Long ones (Rifles & shotguns.
4. Funny looking long ones. (Double Bbls. I think)

No. I've told her, she just doesn't care to keep up.

She hates math and avoids money like the plague. So she hands me her paycheck and I pay the bills, manage the retirement accounts, and do up the budget, and whatever else involves money. I have a me (guns) fund, us fund, and her fund. I give her an allowance each week to cover her food and gas, and then she's thrilled when I hand her $300 and tell her to go shopping. The us fund covers dates and day trips.

I'm pretty sure she doesn't know how many but I've told her about all of them one time or another.

If she starts asking, I just start talking about each one nonstop. That usually will make her avoid the subject for awhile :)

Blackdeuce pretty well answered for me. She isn't interested enough to ask. She does like to shoot with me though, but it's been a while.

Unless I went through every little hidey hole and count them, I can't tell you the exact number. Pickup, shop, gun safe's, bedroom, computer room, etc. and part of them are hers which she shoots very well.

By her count, back when I bought the safe, and had some of them laying on the floor, her term was "that's a lot". That's close enough for her. I don't attempt to hide any, but if they get in the house unseen, well then all is good too.

One time a couple years ago when I bought a 15-22 she asked me what I needed that for. My response was, because I wanted it.

After putting up with her "horse addiction" for 20 or more years, what I have stuffed into the safe is small potatoes.

Happy New Years to all!

My wife doesn't know the exact number of guns I have in the safe. It doesn't interest her, since she doesn't shoot much any more. She knows where her shotgun is, and that there's always a loaded revolver ready in the bedside dresser if she needs it. That's about all she cares to know.

She "thinks" she does and that is probably the best way to keep it. She is happier when she knows everything and we want her to stay happy.

One of these days she is going to find all the empty blue boxes stored behind the couch in the den. The top row is just about to peak over the back of the couch. Fortunately the den is pretty much "my" room so she is not in there very often.

I think she is still puzzled as to why I graciously accepted her refusal to dust the room any longer because of the amount of time it took her with all the book shelves and antiques.
