Early reports are saying that Cranberries lead singer Dolores O'Riordan has suddenly died.
No news yet on a cause of death.

I saw the reports yesterday. The Cranberries' music was a staple in my house in the nineties...her voice could put the listener in a trance, almost.

Sad to see this, at such a young age, too.

She seemed to struggle with depression and mental illness, as do so many others who are artistically inclined.

One of my favorites from my "growing up" years. Very sad.

Considering her bout with anorexia, heart damage is common result. IIRC Karen Carpenter died at 32.

Too many Hollyweird types pushed to look like bony STICKS. Just sickening. Hopefully she didn't die from anorexia, sad we live in a society where people feel they have to have the Auschwitz circa 1944 look to be attractive.

I always liked “Dreams.” First heard it while patronizing a bar in Innsbruck, Austria - had ask the bartender the name of the song. A very memorable moment. Actually listened to it this morning. RIP
