Crazy Phil has passed away.

Don't know how I missed this...Phil was one of the good guys!

I remember him putting up with a "newbie" (me) endless questions on certain makers gun leather goods. In a conversation in 2020 he said he would send me a book on the subject of Gun Leather, but it was a draft version of a revised version and contained numerous typos and errors.

Lo and behold when it arrived it was HIS book, definitely a "draft" or "proof" version for the editors/proofreaders at his publishers.

No charge to me, even signed by Phil... A cherished item in my library!

Rest in Peace Phil, you will be missed.

I'm very sorry to see this, was a extremely good guy
I had some holsters for sale and when I saw he was wanting them I ended up just sending them to him. He sent me a signed copy and some trade fodder
Saddens me over the years to watch the good ones go, I have lost many
God speed I know he is having a great time now, feel for his family
