Sad news, I made a few deals with him over the years. Always a pleasure and an asset to this forum. Definitely one of a kind.

There's a saying that fits here, "When an old man dies, a library burns to the ground." And thus are we diminished. R.I.P. Phil, you will be missed.
Yes, a good guy gone. I have a few holsters here I bought from him at a good price, IMO. He was a great guy to deal with, and ever since, I always check the box of leather whenever I acquire a handgun.

RIP Phil. Phil was local to me and I visited him a few times in his final years. He was a gentleman and I enjoyed our few conversations. I purchased some holsters from him that I will cherish. Prayers to his family.
Very much regret to read of his passing. Enjoyed reading his posts. RIP. Sincerely. bruce.

A fine gentleman in all that makes a man such... Corresponded with him several times and have enjoyed his book.
