I am still somewhat of a Dolphin fan from those days. Still have some shirts. I guess that it easy to like a winner. I particularly enjoyed watching Larry Csonka run 20 yards carrying half the opposing team. Don Shula was an impressive NFL coach and and restaurant owner. Clients always enjoy the Shula Steakhouse. RIP Mr. Shula.

I saw that except I thought it was the entire opposing team.:cool::D

I was a Shula fan as a kid all the way back to the Baltimore Colts and especially after he went to Miami and built up such a kick butt team.

RIP, Coach!!

Wife and I were in the stands when they shellacked the Vikings in a super bowl, believe it was 74. Game was in a Rice stadium in Houston.
Mr Shula had his boys ready to play ball. Czonka looked like a bowling ball busting through pins.
RIP coach.

Don Shula was one of the greatest coaches of all-time. I have a huge amount of respect for not only what he accomplished but also how he did it. Class act!!

Dolphin fan since '68 when Bob Petrella showed at a Cub Scout meeting.
Shula in '70 was icing on the cake and as far as the Fins Super Bowl run well... there ain't no fan like a twelve year old.
A real class act who bridged the NFL eras his features at the forefront of breast cancer research and special need adults down here will be missed.

Larry Csonka, aka "The Zonk"

I burned out on football long ago. Good times back then. Esp mocking Howard Cosell. It's not for the fans any more.
